Privacy policy
This policy explains what happens to your information when you use unamiq.com. The short version: we collect almost nothing, we set no cookies, and nothing about your visit is sent to any other company.

What we collect, and when
If you just read the site
Nothing. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking, and nothing stored on your device. We do not know you were here.
Our hosting provider, Strato, keeps standard server logs, the kind every web server produces, which include IP addresses. That happens at the infrastructure level and is necessary to run and secure the service. Retention: Max 7 days.
If you send us a message
The contact form asks for three things, and only these three:
- Your name so we know who we are replying to
- Your email address so we can reply
- Your message
These are sent to info@unamiq.com by email. They are not stored in a database and are not shared with anyone outside UNAMIQ.
We also briefly store a scrambled, one-way version of your IP address together with a timestamp. This exists only to stop automated systems submitting the form hundreds of times, and it is automatically deleted after one hour. It is scrambled using a secret key, so it cannot be turned back into your address.
Why we are allowed to do this
For the contact form, our legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)): you contacted us and expect a reply, and we have a clear interest in being able to give you one. The anti-spam measure rests on the same basis, keeping the form usable.

Who else sees it
Nobody, other than our hosting provider. This website loads nothing from any third party — no fonts, no analytics, no maps, no video embeds, no social widgets. Nothing about your visit reaches Google, Meta or anyone else.
Our email and hosting are provided by Strato AG, based in Germany, which processes data on our behalf within the EU.
We do not sell data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not profile anyone.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you
- Correct anything wrong
- Delete it
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Send you a copy in a portable format
Email info@unamiq.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will be noted here.
